Tennis Team Regular Season (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fun Fridays)

We have a lot of FUN too! Each Friday will be a different fun theme, including Wimbledon Day, Olympic Day, etc. Themes will be posted on the tennis court bulletin board.

Open Hit/Ladder Play

Come on down to the courts to practice on your own or challenge your teammates/friends to a match in Ladder Play! Rankings for Ladder Play will be posted to encourage friendly rivalry and engagement in honing competitive skills.

2026 Tennis Interclub Match Schedule (updated 3/29/26)

Tennis Team Cost

$150.00. Includes practice/instruction 2 days a week, plus Fun Fridays, as well as interclub match play one to two days a week, and a team t-shirt.

2026 Championships Schedule: Tuesday August 4th (Doubles) and Wednesday August 5th (Singles).

• • Please note that match times are approximate.  Be early and patient!
  • Rain date TBD

• • FINALS WILL BE PLAYED FOLLOWING REGULAR MATCHES, AT THE SAME LOCATION
  • All matches will be a set up to 6 games with No-Add scoring
  • Tie-breakers will be 7 point tie-breaks, win by 2.  They will be played at 6-6.
  • Green dot balls will be used for 10u matches
  • 10u players who struggle to serve over the net can move up into the court
  • Rain date is Thursday, August 7th.
  • Singles: All tennis team participants will play at least one singles match during championships.
  • Doubles:  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee that all tennis team members will play a doubles match due to the constraints regarding the necessity of having an even number of players in each gender / age group. There are no mixed doubles during championships. Please check with the Hickory Hill tennis coach as championships week approaches and the line-ups are established. Please be flexible, and let your children know that this may be the case.
  • Point values for Championships are: 7 points-first place / 5 points-second place / 3 points-third place / 2 points-fourth place

Tennis Banquet:  Friday, August 7th 5-7:30pm
