• Tennis Team Cost

$150.00. Includes practice/instruction 2 days a week, plus Fun Friday intraclub match play, as well as interclub match play one to two days a week, and a team t-shirt!

• Fun Fridays

• 2024 Championships schedule: Wednesday, July 31st (singles) and Thursday, August 1st (doubles)
  • Please note that match times are approximate.  Be early and patient!
  • Rain date is Friday, August 2nd (see below for details)

• • FINALS WILL BE PLAYED FOLLOWING REGULAR MATCHES, AT THE SAME LOCATION
  • All matches will be a set up to 6 games with No-Add scoring
  • Tie-breakers will be 7 point tie-breaks, win by 2.  They will be played at 6-6.
  • Green dot balls will be used for 10u matches
  • 10u players who struggle to serve over the net can move up into the court
  • If it rains on Wed and we cancel for the day, Singles will be played on Thursday, Doubles will be played on Friday, and players will play their final matches after doubles on site (NOT AT EAGLE RIDGE)
  • Singles: All tennis team participants will play at least one singles match during championships.
  • Doubles:  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: We cannot guarantee that all tennis team members will play a doubles match due to the constraints regarding the necessity of having an even number of players in each gender / age group. There are no mixed doubles during championships. Please check with the Hickory Hill tennis coach as championships week approaches and the line-ups are established. Please be flexible, and let your children know that this may be the case.
  • If it rains on Thursday, doubles will be played on Friday and players will play their final matches after doubles on site (NOT AT EAGLE RIDGE)
  • Point values for Championships are: 7 points-first place / 5 points-second place / 3 points-third place / 2 points-fourth place

• Tennis Banquet:  Friday, August 2nd 5-7:30pm
  • Come prepared for games on the court & field and a meal under the pavilion!
